i know that 4 eyes is one of the mc in this anime but his presence doesnt affect that much since they made him so freaking weak , i like him quite a lot for his personality and character but they shld hve made him a bit more stronger , in all the occassion and events up till now he was always shown as below average , all he has going for himself is the plot armor

His character is more developed towards being a more creative and witty type of strong rather than a strong powerhouse fighter. A random power-up I think would ruin his character and just be a typical shounen anime trope with power boosts all around. I just like seeing how Osamu deals with other opponents with his inherent weakness.

If Osamu didn't meet Kuga alot students would have died at that attack on school, there were no other agents beside Osamu and he saved those kids before Kuga even decided to help and even if u say Kuga was there that doesn't mean he would stop the automations... he only step-in cuz of his connection to Osamu. also if Kuga didn't follow them after during the bomb attack alot civilian would have died trapped under debris yea replica helped him with the heavier stuff but for the most part it Osamu who saved them while Kuga helped Kitori stop the bomber from Kamikazeing onto the town. Then there's how Border treated Kuga as a hostile, sooner or later they would have made contact but it would have not been on friendly terms. I'm not gonna deny that he's weak but his action played a big role in how the story played out

You are absolutely right. Overall I like Osamu but they should improve Osamu's strength even if it take time.
